Hello, all! Me and a few players thought it might be fun to give "team play" a test drive. We jumped into it (4 on 4) and it was unorganized but regardless of all that we still thought it was a fun idea, just lacked a plan to prevent confusion. If anyone else wants to try it (and I would love to do it again) here is what we came up with...

OFFICIAL RULES for TEAM PLAY:

- Each player can only guess their teammates drawings
- Must be equal players per team to play. Additional players may keep score, watch, or wait for another player.
- Before starting all must sit out and state their starting points for all to write down for tracking purposes.
- Teams should sit together (Left vs Right) to avoid confusion (ex: 4 on 4 leaves a space in the top center)
- Each player's points accumulated (or lost) during gameplay are totalled - team with the most ACCUMULATED (not overall) points wins!
- THEMES: Can be general for both teams or each team can have their own theme (ex: Team Cat vs Team Mouse, etc). Or a team could choose no theme at all.
- ROUNDS: (7 Total)
------- Round 1-2: Normal game play
------- Round 3-4: No drawing pics for letters
------- Round 5-6: No drawings pics for letters or using __/__ or showing dashes "_ _" for letters. Only one game hint from the drop down menu.
------- Round 7: FACE-OFF - the 2 players from each team with the highest accumulated points each have one chance to draw for additional team points. Round 5-6 rules apply. If a player passes during this round the other team automatically adds 30 pts to their team score.

Idea: if you want to avoid confusion think about using one avatar for each team to decipher who goes where.

Maybe one day Ryan could make this automatic? with a team room? (wink, wink)
