Does it matter? The game is still in alpha version.

I think you might be jumping the gun here. Notice that the dictionary is still very small; and I have had the same words come up more than a few times after just a couple of hours play. Also: when people donate to the dictionary, they tend to follow a particular theme; for example it's pretty obvious that someone went and added all the american states in. and someone else added all the round juicy fruit they could think of... so there's the clue to how someone guessed a drawing was a fruit so quickly.

on further thought: I think it is still jumping the gun to call people cheats at this early stage. really what they are doing is going in the way the game is set up. it is peer observation that calls something 'cheating' and people generally press the button early if there's a full table and someone doesn't even try to draw but just writes. However most people are lenient when they have tried and triend and people still dont get it, and they just write the first letter. anyway by that stage it is too late to get the cheat button into play because someone will have got it already. The next thing is that when the game has only 2 or 3 players the way it is set up pushes players towards cooperative effort rather than competitive. it is natural since all players get better scores that way.

The third thing is that when certain players play with each other they do develop more of an understanding of each other's style of drawing. in no way is this 'cheating'! it will create the same 'correlation' effect if you just look at the meters, but in reality it just means that they have played enough to know each others typical approach to rapping a scribble.

im pretty sure teh same bozos from kdice (ie me et al.) will not really cheat at this game cuz it's way more fun than kdice.
