Writing the word is OK sometimes

I think it should be allowed to write the word when everyone at the table clearly knows what the word is but has no idea how to spell it. Had it happen to me with the word "Hippopotamus" or something. Even I've forgotten how to spell it!

at 3:34 AM, Monday June 2, 2008 EDT Depends on the word if spelling matters. There are words where you can get a letter wrong and still get the points. I even once typed 'father-in-law' when it was 'mother in law' and i got it correct! Also some words are misspelled in the database, like 'earing'.
All in all, i still discourage the use of words. It's the point of pictionary or xsketch NOT to use them. |
