Depends on the word if spelling matters. There are words where you can get a letter wrong and still get the points. I even once typed 'father-in-law' when it was 'mother in law' and i got it correct! Also some words are misspelled in the database, like 'earing'.

All in all, i still discourage the use of words. It's the point of pictionary or xsketch NOT to use them.

You can easily communicate a spelling without using the whole word. You could draw the number of letters, or you could draw one letter and cross it out, for example.
