You've pretty much got to have it in your blood.

The patterns that exist in most elite players include playing a goddamn lot in the first month or two (think 10k per month as a bare minimum, but aim for more like 20k), and then becoming more of a social presence than a playing presence.

It's better for you to be a bad player with cute drawings than a good player with functional drawings. The generation of good sketchers is all but gone.

If any of the social players notice you and grow to like you, it's a good start. Then you should plan to overthrow their tight reign on things.

In sociology as in general usage, the elite is a relatively small dominant group within a large society, which enjoys a privileged status envied by individuals of lower social status.
