Why were my points reset?

I have no idea why my points were reset, but I spent not a small amount of time getting my points up and they were reset from 2,509 to 0.

at 7:19 PM, Saturday February 14, 2009 EST the points reset each month.. its a competition so you earn until the end of every month and then at the beginning of each month it starts over again :)
