I have very strong feelings about this holy, people have been known to stay up for days playing this game, for the points, it is unhealthy. If this was enacted would just make people more rabid, promote cheating and lose sight of the fact we are supposed to like each other. I strongly disagree, no offense, love you to death :)

true true , but at the end of the day its their decision to play the game for long periods of time. Furthermore it is practically impossible to cheat your way into the top 10. (without being noticed at least) The majority are hardworking respected players that want their efforts more easily recognised. People will still fight to get into the top 10 (after all it appears on your profile) this is more about clarity of the level of your experience, ingame.
The fact the medals are there already promotes the competitive nature of the game, an extra one is highly unlikely to affect this, and the ranks, points, medals is what makes xsketch different from other sketch games. if we wanted to waste our hours without recognition we would go over to isketch :)

another point. the top players are likely to compete even more if there is no 4-10 medal as they wont be satisfied with a blue one...
how ever if there was a different colour for the top 10 , they might slow down and accept their position :)
