I disagree, there are plenty of words that aren't american. I've seen quite a few french and german words. Perhaps more non-"american" words could be added but they shouldn't be removed.

I agree about American states. National-level geography and capitals are one thing, but states and territories are a bit too down-in-the-reeds for an international audience.

It may be difficult, but I like the diversity of words in this game. There are many Australian, British and American words floating around (as well as other countries) and it keeps the game challenging, and you learn something new. I have to agree with the states though, that can be difficult...

I'm not from USA, but I can recognize any American state with no problems. I love geography questions! (even though no one gets them when I draw)

The worst I've seen is some basketball players no one in the world cares about, but whatever. I'm sure more people know about American celebrities than, say, Russian ones.

I am not from America like Grue, but still dont have problem with American states... I hate geography but found system how to draw them... american flag or shape of country and first letter... Have to tell that people here are so smart.... but anyway there are not so many states at all...

Bigger problem I have with all names and till now I found system how to draw only Keanu Reeves... but others like Jason Bourne.. and some basketball player who I forgot...

Other chapter is names from movies... Wookie... and others... but I always skip it..
