Ban the hinters!

I think the real hints weren't used enough

people drew the number of letters and hinted the first letter on the screen anyway

I guess that is still aceptable but I will ask Ryan in the mod forum how he feels about that or what his intentions were

The reasoning behind writing the first letter and giving the number of letters was "you can do them with the hint button anyway so it's ok". This no longer holds.

yes, I just gave my opinion there, the removal of the hint button didn't come with a warning that "sketched hints" were not ok anymore so it looked like common sense

I leave it up to Ryan and the real Xsketch mods though

Honestly, the world list is based on the assumption you can use hints. Without it many words would be too hard. It is possible to draw a lot of them without hints but some can be very tricky.

I have to agree with Boz here. I can totally appreciate the challenge of not hinting. And I have been trying it out not hinting-- but its true- the words were created during Hints. Therefore some are pretty much impossible without hints.

If no hints, I say we revamp the word list-- If we are changing the game so drastically , then the word list should also be updated.
