For those obscure words like "hyacinth", "london eye", "windlass".

A link (visible only to the sketcher) would open a new tab with a Google Image search of the word.

3 people think this is a good idea

hmm, not bad, but it takes away from the use of the imagination...

there will always be a component of this game that makes it easier for people who are more literate to do harder words;

LOL if you don't know a word you should be penalised, you are penalised for everyone not benig able to guess the word so in essence it's your own fault, maybe you will go away and learn about the word, i'd advise wiki or a dictionary or your mum, maybe your granddad. But seriously you have the internet RIGHT infront of you (xsketch is ACTUALLY on it) and you can't be bothered to open a NEW tab and go search for it yourself, you're that kid in america who sued mcdonalds because you didn't realise eating one a day would make you fat.
XSketch - Pictionary Online
XSketch is a multiplayer word sketch game played in monthly competitions. It's like Pictionary. You sketch a picture with the goal of having other players guess your word and vice versa.
