Look at the negative side, this would help people pass along the answer alot easier to each other.

I think maybe what he meant was messaging like myspace private msg. Yeah, a 10 minutes delay on the msg would do to prevent cheating cuz users has been getting hard time(not really) to pass along some confidential information like exchanging e mail and stuff.Of course we can do it at tables that don't have users but sometimes glitches occur, didn't show if there was a watcher. Just probability.

honestly if players wanted 2 cheat its not that hard

and its also not hard to stop players who are currently drawing from talking (which is what ryan already does with public chat)

another idea that was already discussed but has relevance to this post is that Ryan should allow players to send emails via xsketch accounts and can be checked on ur profile.

Correct Gurgi, it is another cool idea that will never happen. Perhaps instead of suggesting good ideas on the forum we should allocate a special well, somewhere in the world where people can write their idea down and just drop it in the well.

I'm pretty sure dropping ideas down a well will have the same success rate as posting them here.

Instead of private messaging, what about a privately viewed inbox from player to player. There would be a delay, and it would bring up another window to prevent cheating and it would be similar to a pop-up window that when it's open, the person cannot guess or draw as a way to prevent cheating. It still provides player-player contact, but it also gives players a way to privately contact moderators about bullying, players not following rules/trolling/being inappropiate, and also a way to ask questions without the public humiliation.
