Making XSketch Better
Posted By: Ryan at 10:47 AM, Thursday June 26, 2008 EDT
I think XSketch is a fun game as it is but I think it could benefit from input from it's players. So I'd like to start a discussion on what could be done to XSketch to take it to the next level for online pictionary.
If you could change how the games works, what would you do?

at 8:44 AM, Thursday July 30, 2009 EDT I'm also in favor of an eraser tool. There's a bug that occurs when you're holding down the mouse button and accidentally scroll off the drawing area. Even if you've released the mouse button, a line continues from the imaginary point off the area to where your cursor comes back into the area, making a scribbly mess of things.
If we had an eraser, that would be solved and we would have much greater control over the look of our drawings. I also agree with the "AWAY" issue. If someone clicks that they're away they shouldn't be penalized by losing points each turn. However, if they are going to be away for more than, say, five turns, I think they should be removed from their seat to give others a chance to sit in. |

at 7:03 AM, Thursday October 22, 2009 EDT The ability to use an eraser when drawing would be GREAT, as sometimes I draw a bad line by mistake and it interferes with people's guessing, and I don't want to just absolutely everything that I've already done..

at 8:17 AM, Saturday October 31, 2009 EDT Having words in the English version reviewed by people of multiple English-speaking cultures. Some words don't arise in some dialects (e.g. American English and Aussie English) and some take on different meanings.
For example, I was informed that "make out" means "sex" in Australia. I'd like actual Aussie players to confirm this, mind you. |
