don't wait for this.. it WONT happen!

This definitely needs to happen. It's kind of depressing watching all those ppl play the game almost 24/7 wanting points, points, points. I'm sure they're having fun but it pales in comparison to when a group of people get together, forget about just getting points and draw to see who can draw the funniest/insane/clever pic. That is when this place is at its most entertaining, because lets face it - you get alot of the same words popping up again and again and the veterans here have specific pics they like to draw for those specific words because it's quick and it gets them points. There's definitely a "veteran clique" here at xsketch whether you'd like to admit it or not. It's time we had a table where people who aren't in it for the same kind of motivations as veteran players just get to have fun without having to get worried about being banned.

I admit that there are veterans of xsketch, who play mostly for the points. I would like to count myself among them. But they usually have (or soon will have) enought points to play at the 1500, 10k or later the 75k tables. If points don't matter to you, you can keep playing on the 0 tables, without being bothered by the super veterans :)

This does still mean you don't have a room where you can draw "adult humor" of course. Think of the children!!!

So let me get this straight...It's totally cool if the kids can learn to gamble on Gpokr which btw also encourages to gamble with real money on affiliate sites , whereas it will severly affect their fragile little minds if we have a 'no-rules' table with a disclaimer that says Adults only?

C'mon people, if "the children" are online, they already know about the birds and the bees. Heck, a simple Google Image search gets you more porno than a 5-year subscription to Playboy. Moreover, how many children are here anyway??
Can't we have an age-verification check during registration itself so that minors are automatically blocked from those tables?
Coz trust me, when the Xsketch database throws you words like - Blackberries,Rampage,Birth,Lay and Strip Mall, it is at that point of time you realize that what true creativty is :P

I'm a veteran player too, but I only play for points seriously in the first few days when it helps to get to the 10k table as early as possible. And at the end when it's nice to be in the top 10.

Surely this discussion about veteran players is beside the point? To create an adult table I think there are technical and non-technical problems to be solved, and someone needs to email Ryan with answers to these problems.

1. Do we want to prevent minors being able to view the table? If so, how?
2. Will xxxsketches show up in player profiles? If so, how will moderators know if they were allowed?
3. Will players find it offensive even if they don't use the table?

you mean like drawing a 'dirty sanchez'? or simply including boobs and penises or stuff on the stick figures or drawings

It is a good idea tom to have table with all the fun u can have. But i dont think it is workable ... you will get a couple of idiots ruining the game for everyone. I dont think that it will ever happen basically because its impractical ... what if someone will be upset by it etc ... who will be responsible ... site owner not you.

Perhaps you can come up with something fun to put in every drawing that isn't obscene. Like your favorite fruit. Oh, that's gonna be phallic. Oh, a famous monument. Er nevermind that won't work either.
