Drawing each letter of the word

Okay, so we see a lot of players (including high-ranked) who's not even trying to make sketches, just using a small pictures to show every letter of the guess word. What do you think of this?

The way I see it, there's no difference between doing these glyphs and just writing the word or phrase in normal Latin letters. All you've done is change the alphabet...
