I wanted to let everyone know I am cleaning up the word list. I don't have a list that I can see, so I need to know which words need to be removed. Please submit any words that are ridiculously hard to draw, offensive, misspelled, etc and I will take care of them.
PS: PLEASE do not post words and phrases you have seen in the past, but ONLY words you are now seeing in the game. Thanks for your help everyone, PM325 |

at 2:42 PM, Monday August 9, 2010 EDT Both spellings of caddy/caddie are valid. An archipelago is an island chain or cluster. Notable island chains include Hawaii, Japan, the United Kingdom, and even some place called New Zealand whatever that is.

at 6:11 PM, Friday August 13, 2010 EDT Lol, I still love the tractor wallet idea. I recently explained to Miss Cloudy, before I read this forum, about the India Rubber Ball. Natural rubber was referred to as India Rubber in its early years as India was a main source. Rubber balls made of this natural rubber were referred to as "India Rubber Balls". There is a literary reference to India-rubber balls in "The Adventures of Tom Sawyer" when Tom is doing an inventory of his "schoolboy treasures of almost inestimable value," but there is very little information about "India Rubber Balls" available online as most people nowadays would simply refer to them as rubber balls.
To make a long story short, that is what an India Rubber Ball is. It is however hard to draw, no longer used in modern english, and is only guessed by people who have seen it over and over in the game. Therefore, though it is an Xsketch oldie, today will be its last day. RIP India Rubber Ball, your bouncy personality will be missed. |

at 1:55 PM, Friday August 20, 2010 EDT Here is in initial list of words that confuse and anger me, the reasons they are illogical, AND a better word to replace them with. Discuss!
conspiratorially - i can't pronounce it, therefore it is not a thing. replace with "conspiracy" stay puft marshmallow man - way too precise. you might as well make people guess a quote from the movie. replace with "marshmallow man" staircase to heaven - obvious, replace with "stairway to heaven" fat man with no legs - tractor with a fat wallet. replace with "cartman" man with no legs - seriously? who writes this stuff? replace with "paraplegic" "electronic doll" and "mean snake"-- both of these bother me because they are like the pairing of two random words that don't necessarily together, but can if your force it. I mean, sure, dolls can be electronic and snakes can be mean, but do these words these words, compounded together, make up an identifiable entity? No. No they do not. Replace with "android" and "snake in the grass". Or something. We have a bajillion snake clues already. mr naughty - not a real thing. replace with "Mrs. Brightside" cedar point - OK, i know it has a wikipedia entry, but does anyone ouside of PA know what this is? Replace with "nothing better to do in PA" |
