I wanted to let everyone know I am cleaning up the word list. I don't have a list that I can see, so I need to know which words need to be removed. Please submit any words that are ridiculously hard to draw, offensive, misspelled, etc and I will take care of them.
PS: PLEASE do not post words and phrases you have seen in the past, but ONLY words you are now seeing in the game. Thanks for your help everyone, PM325 |

The issue of thunderbolt has been brought up before.. it actually is a word (A thunderbolt is a flash of lightening accompanied by thunder.) |

at 12:44 AM, Sunday August 21, 2011 EDT coooool so we're supposed to draw simultaneous sound now? alrighty. i'll go taste some colours while i'm at it. and see some flavours, while i feel some scents.
the point is: thunderbolt is a silly word and is difficult to draw. leave thunder and lightning or lightningbolt in, take thunderbolt out. simple. |

at 7:25 AM, Sunday August 21, 2011 EDT Thunderbolt is a very well-known word and I see no problem with it.
What about words such as "music"? Are they impossible to draw because they're sounds? You don't need synaesthesia, just a tiny bit of imagination. |

at 7:44 AM, Sunday August 21, 2011 EDT Also... can we not be too hasty in removing words simply for obscurity? There's nothing wrong with learning new things is there? And a lot of words that seem obscure to one person are more relevant to another. An obvious example would be that there are a lot of US-centric words which may not be known to non-Americans, or will at least be harder to draw (specific towns or cities, sports teams, Americanisms etc.). It's not just down to geography but interests as well. Besides, I don't just want to be drawing "cat" all the time, with "dog" becoming the highlight of my day.
If you really don't know what a certain word is may I recommend the following: www.wikipedia.org www.dictionary.com www.google.com |
