Warning out newcomers

Sorry to be a boreeee, and I'm not sure if a post has been made about this yet but, it occurred to me that I should say this anyway.

I think that sometimes us regulars can be a little hard on newcomers. Most of them don't read the rules before they start to play (I was also guilty of this) and when they make an error, we warn them out, jump on their backs and basically just start off on the wrong foot. They then in turn get defensive, start arguing, which spawns a brawl in the chat box, which is then potentially the birth of a new troll (or at least someone who is angry enough to create an alt just to terrorize the living daylights out of us).

I may be using the term "troll" loosely here, but I'm sure you understand what I mean.

I tested this by logging in with an alt that I hadn't used before, made a minor error, and not only was I warned out instantly, but some of the regulars were more than harsh with their words.

The urge to spit back and argue, despite it being a test, was hard to fight. This doesn't happen ALL the time, but enough times for me to notice.

All I'm suggesting here, is that we try to be a little gentler with newcomers and explain the rules to them before warning them out. Unless of course there is flagrant obscenity..idk. You decide. Or discuss...whichever.

Yuxxy out.

My opinion on the matter is that they should be warned, but told in a calm and nice way why it happened. Currently I try to let people know the main rules before they draw, but honestly I have been ignored 90% of the time!
