I never write on this thingy here, I reckon ye caught moosey on a bad day, not gonna take away from the doucheyness (its a word) of what he appears to have done, but having played with him a few times over this month he seems like a cool kid.

Maffers it is definitely more like this:

Moose has to take a detour while driving one day to work. He ends up going an old route he has not been down for a while. He notices an old park he used to visit during his commute.

The following weekend, Moose decides to go to that old park. He walks there with a notepad and some sketching materials. As he walks down the path he notices some people who he used to see often at that park. It may have been a while, but he even remembers when the park still opened, and was happy to see some of the nice people who were still there from the start.

He finds a bench to sit at and takes his notebook out. He starts beginning to sketch some drawings down when someone walks by trying to pick a fight. He could smell the reek of alcohol and knew the person was nothing but trouble. Deciding to ignore the issue, he continued to sketch.

The next day Moose decides to go back to the park and try and finish up some more sketches that he was very pleased with. While walking down the path to the bench, he runs into more old friends. He catches up with them, bringing a smile to his face. They had shared many memories and it was such a pleasant day. He sits down at another bench right off the path. As he is sketching the same drunk from yesterday goes by wanting to fight. He doesn't seem to me under the influence this time, and this time he has a few people with him. Moose ignores the situation and just leaves the park, figuring he would just come back later.

Moose returns in the afternoon and sees a small group of people of about 7-10 standing around the troublemaker. He continues walking down the path when they all notice him. As the original person sits back, everyone else in that group starts taunting and harassing him. He continues walking around the trail. Several minutes go by before he starts walking back the trail he entered on.

There stood that same group, louder than ever. As they begin taunting, swearing, and even trying to throw punches, while some were drawing terrible graffiti all over the place. Moose decides to notify the police before things get out of hand.

As the police arrive the group is still a bit hostile, but the police warn them and everyone goes on their way.

Thinking that there should be no issues at the park, he decides to go back a couple days later. He has another notebook in hand and plans on sketching some more. After chatting with some friends he runs into, he takes a seat and begins sketching. Everything is going well for a while, until he is about to leave the park for the afternoon. As he is leaving he notices that group of people, a smaller group now, starting trouble with another person in the park and writing inappropriate graffiti over walls and benches. Being a good Samaritan, Moose goes to try and help that person. As he does, the groups tension gets higher, and a police car driving by notices the feud.

As the police officer steps out of the car, it happens to be the same one from the other day. The officer confronts the group, and gives them another warning to quit their bad behavior.
A few days later, Moose receives a call from a friend, asking if he wanted to meet them at the park after the work week. Moose agreed and met up with a couple of friends. They were all just enjoying the park and having a wonderful afternoon with together. Then that same group, now standing with about 7-10 people again walks by. Surprisingly they don’t try and start any trouble. So Moose and his friends continue chatting, enjoying the beautiful day.
As they are ready to leave the park for the day, after meeting up, the group walks by again. But this time, a few people stay back as the rest of the group keeps walking. As Moose and his friends are trying to pack their things up and be on their way, these few stragglers keep trying to start a fight. They begin swearing and harassing Moose and his friends. Giving little attention to it, Moose and his friends start walking out of the park. This is when the rest of the group, now containing a few additional people Moose hasn’t seen before, start taunting and swearing at him. A few start trying to fight him, as Moose starts trying to talk to them again, a friend helps notify police.
As police arrive, the police listen to the group of people and what they have to say, then the officer confronts Moose. After Moose says what happens, he is asked to press charges, at first he thinks about it. He really wants to have the park clean of these troublemakers for when him and his friends, or even family want to go to the park. On the other hand, maybe something can be said to them, to have them quit this crazy behavior. Moose initially chooses to press charges, against some people, but then decides to drop most of the charges. A few people still deserve something, but him and his friends will just have to wait to see what the justice system does.
In the end Moose, his friends, and even the other group just want their park to be how it was when they were there. Although they have different thoughts on how to get there, they all agree on having that peaceful park back the way it should be, and not only for them to enjoy but for anyone to enjoy, including children.

1. Matthew's story was much better, so much better that I would happy to go back and read it again. Pulitzer Prize winner, that one.

2. You forgot the part in your story, Moose, about how you are a bully and nobody starts arguing with you until you pull the first punch.

3. You say you were asked if you were going to "press charges"...although the fact is, you have no say in what the mods do.

4. You think that only the "newcomers" don't like you, which isn't true...even the old players don't like you.

5. Nobody attacked you without being provoked in the first place...you just come in and ruin our fun by being a bully.

6. Since the majority of the people that play this game don't like you...are you really that naive to believe that YOU are not the problem?

7. You say you want to enjoy the game and have fun...I'm not quite sure what your definition of fun is, because harassing people constantly, is not fun!

10. You act like you are so innocent, but what the mods don't see is the way you act when they're not around or the things you leave out when you are tattling on everyone. Oh, but don't worry, I took a page from your book and made my own screen shots of the way you talk to people in the game. Although I am not a snitch like you, but if the mods do ask to see them, all they have to do is ask and they shall receive.

I think that I prefer the chronology of my piece of fiction, it just seems to be much more grounded in the real world. In yours, people take a disliking to a protagonist who later reluctantly accepts the police's offer of help. I like the way that in my own piece of fiction, Derek starts collecting evidence on people who he's never even spoken to first and then the suggestion of run-ins is introduced. The fact that these people haven't ever crossed paths with him but he's still trying to collate evidence to incriminate them is one of my favourite aspects of the story. It's left up to the reader's imagination whether or not Derek has any history with characters such as Mr. Lamberty, but there are other characters such as the Patel Children who probably only started disliking Derek after he started gathering evidence to report them to the council.

I liked the part of your story where the protagonist wants to drop the charges though. I'm not sure what the consequences of this would be in your story, but I'm sure that in mine - wherein the sole problem is Derek's notebook in which he collects evidence - the Patel Children would NOT hold a grudge against Derek if he'd just stop making notes on them as they go about their business.

Wow Maffers, I always knew that we were in the presence of artistic genius, but now I realize that your genius extends into the literary world as well. Well done sir!

1) Opinionated, and if you think it is a better story fine, but now your comparing ideas, opinions and fiction to nonfiction.

2) For the past 2 weeks, I don't say much at all to anyone about the situation, nor start any arguments. Logging into rumors being told, trouble started, inappropriate draws, etc. I may be an adult, and some of you may be too, even though some don't act like it, but there are many younger people who play this game to and don't want to see such terrible stuff. People worry about the site being "unpopulated", maybe be more appropriate and a bigger crowd can enjoy the game.

3) I was asked each and every time if I wanted someone banned or not, in the end I was asked, you weren't there, and I know for sure you are not a mind-reader. It may not be my decision in the end, but I was asked each time.

4) Your talking for people in general, which is not your place, many "newcomers" do like me and many "of the older ones" like me too. This all started with one person, and now it has gone too far. Like this forum, if you really want the trouble gone, this forum wouldn't be up, as it continues and continues. The only people to have broken rules and to make this site really disgusting in pictures and words has not come from my side. I'm not the one swearing at people, causing any trouble, or drawing bad pictures.

5) Again, I log in to a mess of rumors being spread, trash being talked, and people being extremely ignorant. When it isn't that, people are drawing disgusting, immature pictures that should not be on a site meant for everyone. Bullying is what is being done from the other side, logging into that crap going on, then being continuously insulted without saying a word, is not me bullying. The only time I decided to even reply to any of the nonsense was yesterday, and when I did, I did it in a mature manure, no swearing, no put-downs, nothing inappropriate.

6) Repeating another one? Again opinionated and talking in general of your thoughts, not actuality.

7) Harassment is coming from your side. The other day even I was playing the game with friends at our own table, harassment is you guys going to our room, while we are just playing, and then going off swearing and saying terrible things out of no where with no spark accept your own to even start it.

10) Again, speaking for other people. The mods have their own thoughts, you are not in control nor know/understand them. It is their job to make sure the site stays clean. So that is why I go to them when necessary. I'm not some snitch, and definitely not some lurker. But logging on to see this crap, and seeing such disgusting draws when there are many younger people who play this game, it is disgusting.

Remember, you aren't the only ones that play here, rules were made for this site to keep it clean, instead it is just a mess, so that no one can enjoy the game. I only started copying the info down so mods could see it after all this disgusting stuff continued and continued.

Pictures, mods have them, would take too long to upload. But here is what they were:

Drawing someone cumming for scum, for first baseman drawing a guy looking at another guys penis. Firm, drawing boobs across the screen. Words off draws showing death of other users for no reason. Drawing bondage for bandage. And so many other terrible things.


This all went on with me saying nothing, just playing, or as I was just logging in. People playing this game don't want to see any of that crap. It is against the rules for a reason, it is very offensive. And this is only the last 2 days. The only reason I have put up a fight against this, is because XSketch used to be a really good site. It is a shame to see all this terrible stuff go on.

There is no need for a book to respond to your asinine comments. But like I said earlier, you only say things that will make you look good to the mods and you have told lies to make yourself look better. I really think you need help if you think the entire site is ganging up on you...like seriously, go see a psychiatrist or something if it makes you that upset.

The pictures you are referring to were NOT done in the room with a bunch of people...there were 4 people in the room (Myself, PC, Petey and Jim) at the 10K table...with nobody watching. Oh but wait, I guess there was someone watching, taking screen shots, taking notes....But it must not have been you, because you were playing at the other table! Hmm...seems like SOMEBODY is lying about lurking, interesting.
