Vermont is a mod, sure, and he plays some (recently) but he rarely uses mod powers for anything. You're missing kkm for a few weeks while she recovers. fine. you'll get her back in a few weeks. Amber is an xsketch mod and mods on sketch. She does not think of herself as a kdice mod afaik. All TWO of the kdice mods also have jobs and are not on during the day.

For a community of <500 regular people you have a whole lot of mods. Kdice is rampant with cheating and needs mods desperately. You get trolls who draw penises. Oh well. You lose someone's draw every once in a while and have to deal with a penis on your screen until it gets warned off. We get cheaters who mess up the game for everyone, and turn so many people off to the game. Cheating is a lot harder to spot than trolling.

You obviously have little to no knowledge of the trolling and cheating that goes on here.

Also you seem to be under the impression that we don't want kdice mods, only our own, which is silly.

Just because you don't care about xsketch doesn't mean we should have to say "oh well" any time we get troll raided. Think about what you're saying. I never said Amber isn't an xsketch mod, I said she spends the majority of her time on Kdice, which is correct.

I'm familiar with the situation here. I just have a different opinion about it than you do- that does not make me ignorant. I have played sketch and I do care about sketch. I stopped playing much a couple months after I started because the higher level tables disappeared.

The fact still remains that rampant cheating is far worse than trolling. Cheating takes more time and effort to spot and truly ruins the game. I say "oh well" because you can ignore trolls; it doesn't mess up your gameplay (except for the pot being larger for the next draw). At no point did I say or imply that you are against kdice getting more mods. I just pointed out the current situation. For a community of LESS THAN 500 players over the course of a month (many of whom play a few rounds only) four mods should be more than sufficient when the vast majority of bans are for trolling. Last I checked, Rage's bans are all on sketch, which is why I called him a sketch mod.

Yes, kkm is out for a while so for a few weeks you'll have three instead of four mods- though I don't know about you (or her), but if I were on bedrest or immobile because of a broken leg I would be spending more time on the computer, not less.
Think about what you're saying. I said Amber mods on sketch, which is true. I'm sure sketch could use a couple more mods to make it easier on the current mods, but as far as I can see the situation here is plenty stable for the time being.

As far as I know the extent of cheating on sketch is two people IMing each other the answers to their draws. This is relatively easy to spot and ban- someone draws terrible draws repeatedly, the same person guesses correctly each time. I don't consider writing words to be the same type of cheating- writing words doesn't give two people an advantage over everyone else. Writing words falls, in my mind, under the realm of trolling.

I don't understand why you came on here so belligerently and posted in this random topic with your random ramble. You should have made your own forum post and introduced yourself a little bit better.

kdice doesn't need more mods and the community doesn't want more mods
